- Herelstruth, you are ignorant. If you had ever been to Turkey, which I have, you would know that it is a secular country with a very liberal lifestyle. I am a white American, born and bred, and ignorance like yours is hard to stomach.

- Shari, grow up. It may surprise you to know that the vast majority of people who smoke dope can function socially, raise responsible children, are not "addicts", are able to maintain a career and have a happy, meaningful life. A lot of these people are actors and musicians, too.

- Jack, you COMPLETELY missed the point of my post. The teachers should run the school. They should have a classroom with children in it who are respectful and ready to do their job. It is the PARENT'S job to get the child ready to do that.

He has paid for his crimes, he has the right to apply for any job he chooses and if it is one he is capable of doing like football so be it. He only needs forgiveness from GOD not from us. He was judged and sentenced already its over. As for the dogs, i am a dog lover but he could have taken a life and got less publicity and prison time. I wonder if the young man in Florida will get this type of publicity and the same type of prison sentence for his charges of animal cruelty. I imagine that we won't hear much about that anymore. Regardless of what anyone thinks he does not owe us anything. People make hero's and role models out of professional athletes; they are people just like everyone else but placed on a pedestal. He knows his craft and has worked for it, no one gave him that. God, get a life you people that thinks he needs your forgiveness.
